Cinnamon ice cream goes perfectly with so many fall and winter desserts and is wonderful served on its own as well.
10 ice cubes, 1/4 c almond milk, 4 tbsp half and half (or cream), 1/4 cup water, 1/4 cup pumpkin purée, 1 scoop vanilla protein, 1/4 tsp of nutmeg, cloves, ginger, cinnamon, a pinch of sea salt and glucomannan (optional) and 1/2 tsp of THM sweet blend (or stevia of your choice). This Cinnamon Ice Cream (brought to us by Amy here on Tasty Kitchen) is easily one of the smoothest I've ever made. Most of the time I don't bother with making a custard base for my homemade ice creams. I generally lack the patience to wait for it to cool completely before churning. The results of non-cooked ice cream are quite good but if you want to take your ice cream to the next level of smooth creaminess, I highly recommend taking the time to cook up a custard.
