Equipped for life... children from the surrounding villages spend a week at our CITW camps learning, having fun and acquiring life skills that set them up for their future success. Limpopo Valley CITW Camp #MashatuGameReserve #community #Botswana
Using a curriculum suited to the specific country or community, delivered in a fun and engaging manner, Children in the Wilderness introduces children to their wildlife heritage, builds and strengthens their capabilities to cope with life’s challenges and educates them with the life skills necessary to actualise their greatest potential.
A Wilderness Safaris camp is closed for a few days each year, and 16-30 children between 10 and 17 years old are hosted in the camp for a three to five-day programme. The Camp Coordinator, with a full staff complement of volunteers and mentors, runs an educational and fun-filled programme.
