Speaking at what's thought to be the country's largest ever election rally, leader Morgan Tsvangirai said he hoped President Mugabe would enjoy his retirement: "It's time for new blood and new ideas," he told jubilant crowds. Around 100,000 people are thought to have turned out to support the Movement.
Morgan Tsvangirai will meet with opposition foreign affairs spokeswoman Julie Bishop in Sydney on Sunday morning before flying to Canberra to speak with the Australian Prime minister Gillard in Parliment House on Monday morning. 'Prime Minister Tsvangirai is a very welcome visitor to Australia, said a spokesperson for the PM. Australia is the third largest bilateral donor to Zimbabwe after the USA and the UK.
