Minesh Singh Head of DTP. Minesh brings the following experience to the creative team: 6 years as DTP operator (Pietermaritzburg Drawing), 4 years as DTP supervisor (Omnigraphic), 1 year as print manager/graphic designer (Thiela Imaging) and 1 year as graphic designer (Jetline). He has completed various courses to equip him for his work.
Xabiso Matshikiza Account Director: PR, holds a BA Marketing Communications degree from the University of Johannesburg. She has been exposed to a variety of high-profile, corporate organisations in various sectors including retail, hospitality and the motor industry, which has brought her a strategic approach to innovation and creativity when executing communication and PR campaigns. Her expertise lies within event management, public relations and communications.
Felix Calitz has spent more than 30 years in the South African advertising and design industry as a change agent and creative strategist. He has created and produced an extensive portfolio of advertising campaigns and designs for leading local and international clients, brands and companies. Felix has extensive international experience and has received numerous international awards for his creativity.
Stephanie Osmond, Account Director: holds a BA in Communication Science and has solid experience in both above- and below-the-line communications. She has worked on accounts including the IDC, Old Mutual, iWYZE and Deloitte. She is passionate about marketing strategy.
Melinda Bolton Creative Director: Below-the-Line. Melinda has over 20 years’ experience in the design industry that includes strategic branding and design for clients such as Coca-Cola, the SA Post Office, the IDC, Eskom, Bavaria Breweries, The Blue Train and Total South Africa. Her expertise includes corporate communications, identity design, POS, billboard and below-the-line advertising. Melinda’s versatility and conceptual thinking will benefit the bottom line of any business.
Monica Maloka Production Assistant. Monica started her career in 2003 at FNB as a Client Service Representative. In 2007 she moved to Alliance Media as a Production Assistant until 2009 when she was promoted to Production Manager. In 2012 Monica joined Chillibush as an Assistant Production Manager. Jock Dippenaar Production Manager. Jock’s production background (which spans over four decades) started as hot-metal compositor through to photolithography, production management and sales in the repro and print trade, as well as other related industries. He has spent the last 30 years as production manager, director and costing manager at various ATL and BTL ad agencies and design studios, handling the full gamut of print production ever created.
Lerato Masera Account Executive, completed a BA Marketing Communications degree at the University of Johannesburg in 2011. In 2012 her career commenced when she joined Chillibush as an Account Executive. She has already worked on the following accounts: TSB, IDC (media), Constitution Hill and Right to Care. Lerato is committed and dedicated. She strives to deliver work of a high standard and is an asset to the team.
Pearl Mokgatle Director – Chillibush Client Service. Pearl’s passion for advertising started in her final year at UCT, where she completed her BA in English and Political Science. She then went on to do a Post-Graduate Diploma in Advertising and Marketing with AAA before embarking on her career. Natalie Fellendorf Operations Manager, has worked on all aspects of advertising for over 20 years. She has a strong leadership background and is currently managing the creative studio, ensuring the highest possible level of efficiency. Natalie’s Operational Management duties include handling challenges within the organisation quickly by efficiently managing all processes and functions that relate to the advertising and design divisions within Chillibush.
Steven Franco Senior Art Director, born and bred in Johannesburg, Steven has been in the advertising industry for more than 12 years. He has worked on clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Anglo American, Aspen, 3M, Cell C, Coca-Cola; amongst many others. Steven has worked in both above- and below-the-line agencies and specialises in medical, cellular and government work.
Terry Mlangeni Copywriter Terry had his first taste of the advertising industry in 2009 when he completed his Grade 11 work experience project at the Firehouse Group advertising agency.Terry took up a BBA degree in Marketing Management at I.M.M. Graduate School for Marketing, which he is currently completing. From January 2013 he has been expressing his creativity and outgoing nature at Chillibush. He has been working with major clients like the IDC, iWYZE and Deloitte.
Roselyn Rukara Finance Director: holds her MBA and has been in finance for the past 23 years – thirteen of those within the advertising industry. A stickler for detail, Roselyn applies a rigorous approach to ensuring all aspects of the financial process at Chillibush run smoothly. Her financial management experience involves cash flow, monthly management accounts supervision and management of accounting staff.
Tamaryn Smith Managing Director: PR. After graduating at Wits with a BADA (Hons) degree specialising in communications, Tamaryn gained international experience working in London, Brussels and New York for General Electric. She has a proven record in strategic planning, as well as managing integration of the marketing mix to provide comprehensive communications delivery. Her particular expertise lies in the areas of corporate social responsibility, development and sponsorship.
Victor Dlamini, Chairman, has enjoyed a long and distinguished career in the field of corporate communication and reputation management. Widely regarded as an industry leader, he is regularly asked to advise some of South Africa’s captains of industry on how to enhance their communication strategies. Victor graduated cum laude at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg, where he obtained an honours degree in English Literature.
