Big blooms, such as hydrangeas, lilies and peonies, are statement makers. While I love little tiny spray roses and the like as much as anyone else, you should go for the big blooms if you want to make the most impact. Just three to five stems of hydrangeas will fill a vase and they can often be found for a low price per bunch.

Need cheap and easy spring decorating ideas? Before you toss those empty cans of soup, repurpose them into DIY tin can planters. These decoupage tin can planters require only a few materials which you likely already have and mere minutes to create. Once your spring planters are completed, simply fill them with your favorite indoor plant (i.e. succulents), so you can enjoy a bit of the outdoors inside.

Jute Wrapped Tin Cans- I thought it would be a cool idea to wrap tin cans in jute for a centerpiece. I was planning on filling them with flowers, but when I saw how great they looked with cacti and sucullents.....that's the route I took
