Jenna Barnard on Instagram: "New and improved brown butter chocolate chip cookies!! This is a revision of a very old recipe because I just knew they could be better…and these most definitely are. They’re so tender with a melty center and chewy edges. Plus the combination of dark and hazelnut chocolate is just 😚🤌🏻 (and the dough freezes very well so you can always have an emergency cookie on hand). Full recipe is now up on my website!"

Britt Berlin on Instagram: "Small Batch Vegan ‘BROWN BUTTER’ Chocolate Chip Cookies!! No eggs and entirely dairy free, thanks to @foragerproject ! AD | Chewy and molten in the center with crisp “buttery” edges and a rich nuttiness, these cookies are it. The dough comes together with just a whisk and a bowl, and is made entirely without eggs by using my favorite swap, Forager Project cashewmilk yogurt- it’s the *best* vegan egg replacement that literally yields cookies that will literally leave you speechless!! COMMENT “small batch cookies” and I’ll send you the full recipe. Or just head to my site! ENJOY! 💫"

Since making this recipe, I have posted a ton of other variations with garlic, tahini and other flavours profiles. 2. Tahini is blended sesame seeds, which is a high priority allergin in Canada. People need an alternative. I know that it is ONE of the main ingredients. If you want tahini go to my other recipes. 3. I do not usually use canned chickpeas anymore. I use dried. It’s more cost-effective, but a lot more time-consuming. And some people just don’t have that luxury. 4. Add an ice cube or two to help it blend!
