Braised Oxtail (Potjiekos): Normally potjiekos is cooked in a cast iron pot/Dutch oven over open fire. If you look at my board Who Needs Electricity When You Can Use Fire, you will find many more potjiekos recipes.
Karen's world: Nothing beats oxtail in the depths of winter . I have personally never had oxtail, but the recipe sounds so delicious, I think it's worth a try! Can't wait for the cold weather to set in.
Jamie's Easy Slow-cooked Beef Stew - I halved the recipe and it completely filled my slow cooker. The broth in this is amazing - I think cooking some udon or ramen noodles in it would be a great way to use the leftovers.
