Taking photos of each child and gluing them to a block. Makes it very personal and included in the classroom. This would be great as a social and interactive ice breaker activity as well as incorporating these blocks into normal block and construction play. From a Reggio inspired website. Great!
Boulder Journey School- "creating space for play that is attractive - to adults and children. Displaying images of the children to make their learning through play visible to the children and parents. To allow the children to feel valued for who they are and what they are doing."
