The Gouritsmond tribute that my grandmother had orginanised to be put up at the community hall to honor one of Gourits' canine celebraties. This dog would wonder through the whole town, saying hello to everyone, playing with us kids and of course getting all his meals as he went. He was cleverly named after the town itself.
