Bag of Kittens
I present to you, the Bag of Kittens! Another quirky D&D item with surprisingly many uses! The bag is very rare but requires no attunement, so it doesn’t directly compete with weapons and other combat-focused items. Who would choose a weapon over the Bag of Kittens anyway? I hope it presents an unusual an interesting reward to thrill and surprise your players. It’s also an excellent plot hook for quests like: “Oh no! Cat island is sinking! Save the kittens!” or “Go forth, my warlock, and…

. stealtheircannons When the DM says something like “The room appears to be empty” or “so you touch the object?” % redarmybushman Fun DM tip: always do that. Even if it really is empty or nothing will happen. Really helps curb meta gamming and can get some funny reactions. My favorite is asking how they open the door or asking “so youjust stand in front of it and open it normally” then suddenly they’re trying to describe a totally abnormal way of opening a door that doesnt involve them being…

D&D Character Concept: A sentient reanimated skeleton (of any race & martial class) that found themselves among many nonsentient ones. They have no recollection of who they are, with 1 or 2 mysterious trinkets with no name (can be determined by DM), and have an odd soft spot for something typically considered "pure" or "innocent", often going out of their way to keep it from harm (ex. Will take time trying not to step on any flowers whilst traversing a meadow, go out of their way to aid misfortunate children, etc.) - emotional ties to such things or people who show them kindness, that it emotionally damages them whenever something happens to them. - iFunny :)

Simple Weather Table
Just futzing around with a simple weather table to give temperature, precipitation, lightning and wind all with a single d100 roll, coupled with a d4 roll for duration in days. The idea was to create periods of weather with minimal dice rolls allowing a GM to quickly plot out an entire month's worth or even year's worth of weather prior to play. The results are weighted to give a normal seasonal temperature more often than not. Little to no wind and precipitation are more frequent than heavy…
