Old photo of Hy-Many (before the gables) In the a businessman named Tom Kelly bought the property and called it Hy-Many House after his family estate in Ireland.

Hy-Many House - October 2014 The building the firm chose was Hy-Many house, parts of which date back to the early 1860s, more than two decades before the discovery of the greatest goldfield on earth and the birth of Johannesburg. The property began its life as a humble farmhouse before being transformed into a grand country estate by the famous Randlord John Dale Lace and his charismatic wife Jose.
