Design Fanatic: Make baskets out of cardboard boxes and twine. Brush glue on or use hot glue gun and cover with twine. Brilliant idea! Much easier to get a box to be just the right size if it's just cardboard. Great idea. Large baskets are so expensive.

My husband purchased this beautiful shelving unit at lowes. Lowes sold beautiful baskets for $50.00 a piece. $50.00 x4 = $200.00. No thank you!! So I decided to find storage containers that fit. I used plastic spray paint for the 1st coat. I had a piece of decorative metal ( used for building radiator covers).
