I've already explored the modern-day Castle Market in a previous post, and Unmann-Wittering took some great pictures of the covered market and signage on Found Objects. C.E. (according to the Sheffield directory) removed to Pinstone Street in either 1895 or 1896. Therefore, this photograph with the removal notices still displayed over the old premises is most lilely to be 1896.
