Loco velo: A totally bonkers sprint motorcycle concept
What do a Kawasaki KZ250 engine, a car’s spare wheel and a bicycle seat have in common? You’ll find them all on this curious contraption from Valen Zhou, along with a smorgasbord of other odd bits and pieces. Valen admits that this build isn’t particularly practical—in fact, it’s downright sketchy. The Chinese-born, Milan-based photographer had a very specific mash-up of styles in mind, but once he got stuck in, things didn’t quite pan out.
Make some noize for the Kawasaki H1 that didn't race at Glemseck
This audacious sprint bike from Krautmotors is powered by a Kawasaki H1 Mach III engine. The paint job is a riff on 70s Kawasaki liveries, trading the brand's signature green for builder Rolf Reick's favorite color: pink. [Image by Marc Holstein]
Sabotage: A custom Kawasaki KZ440 LTD from Australia
The owner of this Kawasaki KZ440 LTD wanted Sabotage Motorcycles to turn it into a café racer — but the guys had a better idea. By leaning into the KZ's pseudo-chopper roots, they turned it into a cheeky little Harley chaser instead. [Image by Andrew Jones]

Subtle it ain't, but we love this Z1000 cafe racer from Frenchman Jérémie Duchampt. It's wearing the forks from a BMW R1200R, with a Kawasaki ZRX1100 swingarm out back. The 17” rear wheel is new too; it wears a 180-width tire, with an offset front sprocket to keep the chain in line.
Dusty Smiles for Miles: A Kawasaki KZ750 Scrambler from Poland
The KZ750 LTD is one of Kawasaki's quirkier (and lesser-known) classic models, but it has tons of potential. This KZ750 by Eastern Spirit Garage has been given the scrambler treatment, complete with new suspension and wheels, a revised subframe, and all-new hand-formed aluminum bodywork.
