http://cpv.co.za/wine-tasting/. Cape Point Vineyards is in Noordhoek; the wine estate overlooks its own lake and then on the the beach at Noordhoek. I tried their 2014 Sauvignon Blanc, 2013 Isliedh (a Sauv Blanc/Semillion blend) and 2014 Splattered Toad Sauvignon Blanc. This vineyard is on the edge of the recent fires in the Table Mountain area.
http://www.constantiaglen.com/ Constantia Glen winery is located on a mountainside just below Constantia Nek. I tried six of their wines in May 2015: Sauvignon Blanc, Saddle Red, Constantia Glen Three (a Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon Blend, 2011 vintage) and Constantia Glen Five (Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Cab Franc and Malbec blend, 2010 vintage) as well as 2007 vintages of the Three and Five. The 2011 Three was quite lovely; the 2007 Five was wonderful.
Holden Manz is a Franschhoek wine estate making a range of very nice wines. I visited in September 2016 and tried the Rose (a blend of four varietals), Vernissage (a blend of three varietals), Merlot, Shiraz, Cab Sauv (2011, really good), Visionaire (Malbec/Petit Verdot blend), Chardonnay, Big G (Cab Franc/Cab Sauv/Merlot blend) and the really excellent Good Sport Cape Vintage port.
La Couronne is making really nice wines in Franschhoek. I visited in September 2016 and tried their 2015 Sauvignon Blanc, 2016 Unwooded Chardonnay, 2013 Portside Red (Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Cab Franc; excellent), 2015 Pinotage (also excellent), 2014 Cab Sauv, 2015 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay (very nice) and 2014 Malbec.
Beaumont Family Wines is in Botriver. Lovely wines! I visited in September 2016 and tried the 2016 Chenin Blanc, 2015 Hope Marguerite (also CB), 2013 Pinotage, 2013 Syrah, 2012 Mourvedre, 2015 Goutte D'Or late harvest, 2013 Cape Vintage port, and 2014 Constable House Shiraz Cab Sauv blend.
Ken Forrester Wines is in Stellenbosch. I visited in September 2016 and tried the 2015 Sauv Blanc, 2016 Chenin Blanc, 2015 Chardonnay, 2015 Semi Sweet, Ken Forrester Sauv Blanc 2015, Old Vine Reserve Chenin Blanc 2015, The FMC 2013/14, Roussane 2013, and the 2015 Dirty Little Secret. La Petite Dauphine in Franschhoek is home to Cafe Bon Bon and sells both its own wines and those of Haute Espoir. On a visit in September 2016, I tried the La Petite Dauphine Sauvignon Blanc, and then the Gentle Giant (red blend), Shiraz and Cab Sauv from Haut Espoir.
