These are from a book by photographer, Hans Silvester: Natural Fashion, Tribal Decoration from Africa. Published by Thames Hudson. They are from the Surma and Musi tribes of the Omo Valley in East Africa.
Dedicated to Hans Silvester, German photographer author of extraordinary photographs, who in 2006 ended a work of several years over the people of the Valley of the Omo, located between Ethiopia, Kenya and Sudan, a lost world, a place that is not included in the maps. Thanks to his work, the whole world took knowledge of the reality of these tribes threatened by the advance of capitalist interests.
