Lion

Giraffe

Elephant
This cute little elephant is approx 12cm when finished however using a larger hook will produce a slightly bigger elephant or using 4 ply wool will produce a smaller one. Rhino pattern by Elizabeth Jayne can be made using double knit or 4ply which will change the size of the finished item. It is necessary to keep stitches fairly tight so that the stuffing will not show through. Safety eyes are recommended, especially if making as a gift for a baby or young child. 100g ball will make at least 2 animals and a small amount of scrap can be used for the contracting colour.

This cute little Hippo pattern can be made using double knit or 4ply wool. 4 ply will produce a much smaller version however it will be necessary to reduce the hook size accordingly. Stitched need to be fairly tight to ensure that stuffing does not show. It is recommended that safety eyes are used especially is making as a gift for a baby or young child. 100g ball will make at least 2 animals and scrapes can be used for the contrast colour.
