7.4K views · 23K reactions | Crispy Parmesan Ranch Smashed Carrots Ingredients 1 pound baby carrots 1/2 cup water 1 tablespoon olive oil 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 (1 ounce) packet ranch seasoning 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley ranch dressing for dipping (optional) Directions: Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment.  Place carrots in a microwave-safe bowl. Add water; cover with plastic wrap. Microwave on High until fork tender, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain well.  Toss carrots with oil on the prepared baking sheet. Use a heavy bottomed glass or jar to smash the carrots, taking care not to break them fully apart. Perfect Game Day Snack 🏈 | Perfect Game Day Snack 🏈 | By Food Pop | Alright, I'm going to show you guys how to make my favorite dish for the cookout or a football watching party. We're going to start with one pound of lean ground beef. Then we're going to add one pound of Italian sausage. I'm going to take the casing off of these sweet Italian sausages. Then we're going to add our cheddar cheese and freshly grated pepper jack. You can also add cream cheese if you prefer whatever cheese you like. And we're in Texas and we like heat. So we're going to add some spicy diced green chilies right on top. Now get your favorite barbecue rub. I'm going to use this honey hog barbecue for meatchur and we're just going to sprinkle a generous amount right on top. Now, get in there with your hands. You want to mix up all that meat. Now, you can add whatever cheese you like if you don't like spicy. You can omit the peppers. You can add fresh jalapenos. You can add green onions. We want every bite to be meaty, cheesy, and delicious. Now, here's the fun part. We're going to stuff this meat into our manicotti pasta shells. We're just going to slide our manicotti over and get our tray. We're just going to take each manicotti tube and stuff in that delicious meat. You can use a piping bag for this or just use your hands. I think it's easier to use your hands and it's kind of satisfying too and once your meat tube has been sufficiently stuffed, you're going to grab one slice of bacon and we're just going to wrap this thing around nice and tight. You want bacon fully coating this thing and this is going to be so good you guys. Once your shell is fully stuffed, you're just going to place it on your rack here. Just wrap this nice and tight. Some people use two slices of bacon for this I like a nice crispy bacon so I'm only putting one slice of bacon what about you guys do you prefer your bacon more crispy or chewy and once your last shotgun shell has been bacon wrapped we're going to top it with a little more of that barbecue rub again I'm using this honey hog barbecue from Meat Church we just want a nice generous coating on each of our shotgun shells we're going to throw this in the fridge for about four hours or overnight that's going to help soften up those noodles and then we are going to bake this for about an hour at three 50 degrees and we're going to come back for one final step. Alright, I baked these for a little over an hour and they turned out perfect. That bacon is nice and crispy. Now, we're going to grab our favorite barbecue sauce. I'm going to use this stub sauce and we're just going to brush a little bit on top of these. Now, let me know in the comments what is your favorite barbecue sauce. I want to know you guys have some really awesome recommendations. Now, I used an oven to bake mine but you can use a smoker. I just don't have a smoker. I've heard that these are delicious in the smoker and all your barbecue sauce has been brushed on we're going to throw this back in a 350 degree oven for about 10 more minutes come back and enjoy alright we bake those for an additional 10 minutes and they look wonderful we're going to grab our festive football plate and we're going to go ahead and slide this on these are a hearty snack you can pick em up you can cut into em with a fork and knife however you want to serve this and look at how good these look let's go ahead and cut into one I and look at that you guys. Usually like maybe two three wings. And he said we better go safe and get thirty. I said who's eating these wings? Who's eating these wings? I am. He said I'm hungry. And I go you need 30 wings. What do we have in triplets? That was a joke. But I I settled and got twenty-five. He's still eating. Well we'll see if he gets them all gone. Alright let's see where we're at. Oh yeah. Perfect. Put it on the paper towel. And it will get crunchy. You know I'm doing a ranch with fried pickles. Low carb fried pickles. Taste test. That is delicious. I definitely think I could have probably got it crispier but I kind of like the little cheesiness to it. You gotta make that. But don't burn your face off. I have no taste buds left.
