On the 5th of March 2014, an adventurous couple brought spring to autumn with their forest fairy tale at De Uijlenes in Gansbaai. Lize and Michiel were university sweethearts and quickly realised they wanted to be lifelong sweethearts too.

This year for Wedding Inspirations magazine, we wanted to illustrate that a winter wedding can be just as enjoyable and visually elegant as we teamed up with Feather and Stone Photography for a champagne and copper inspired bridal shoot. With freezing temperatures keeping us indoors, we could not help but to draw inspiration from warmer hues and cosier furnishings and we illustrated our concept by incorporating various ‘wintery’ elements, richer textures and the ‘currently-very-trendy’…
