Lace Pottery - DIY > The dishes are made using craft porcelain, a clay-like material that requires no baking. After rolling out the craft porcelain, a piece of lace is pressed gently on top to create the design. A sharp instrument is then used to remove the excess. Placing the clay in a rounded container allows the piece to dry in the shape of the bowl. The piece will be dry in about 24 hours.
