never thought that I would become an avid gardener, especially considering my OCD aversion to wet dirt and mud. It used to make me want to run away, but then I started to realize the grounding benefits of gardening. Being in the garden helps me find peace and calmness, and I have now become completely hooked on it. Through trial and error, I’ve discovered a few key tools that I can’t live without.

When your teen daughter is on point with your fav movie director’s aesthetic ☝️. Way back when, during the pandemic, we first revamped this room to be the desert DIY Murphy bedroom; it served us so much purpose. It continues to do so, but now that Emy has officially taken over this room, we infused her style and aesthetics with more color and patterns, and texture.

With the help of Velcro and Mr. Meticulous’ patience, we finally have light for the DIY Murphy bed! I’m still reminiscing about my recent trip to NYC with my sister! The last time we got a sister’s trip in was 2018! We took in all the sights, sounds, and food as much as we could. I don’t think I needed to eat for a week after that trip! 🤣 Most memorable moment was when she got to meet all my NYC friends and support system for the book dinner.
