Best bread recipe ever! Amish bread made in cast iron dutch oven. Dissolve 2/3 c sugar in 2 c. warm water-add 1 packet of yeast. Stir and let it sit til it gets a foamy creamy look.Add 1 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 oil and add 6 c unbleached flour(1c at a time). Knead it, let it rise in oiled bowl for 1 hr. Punch it,knead some, put in dutch oven 30 mins. Put in preheated 350 degree oven in the pot w/lid for 30 mins. Remove lid, cook for another 15 mins. So delicious!
