37K views · 569 reactions | Written instructions down below 👇🏼 How to make DIY stepping stones: 🪨WHAT YOU’LL NEED🪨 -bucket -concrete mix (I used Quikcrete) -water -something to stir with that you don’t mind throwing away (a paint stirrer, a plank of wood, a stick, etc) -14 inch plant saucers -putty knife for smoothing concrete -cooking spray -decor (concrete letter stamps, rocks, gems, etc) -concrete sealer (not a necessity, but recommended for longevity) (These supplies are all linked in my “stepping stone” story highlight as well) 🤘MAKING YOUR STEPPING STONES🤘 1. Spray your plant saucers with cooking spray. This made removal very easy. 2. Pour concrete mix into bucket and slowly add water. Stir. You want the consistency to be like thick oatmeal. 3. Transfer concrete mjx to greased plant saucers. 4. Smooth out concrete with putty knife. 5. Wait for the concrete to slightly start drying. You want it to be moldable, not still slushy but not hard, either. For me, this took about an hour. 6. Press on a hand, foot, butt, whatever. I wouldn’t recommend glutes, but you do you. Add any embellishments you want. I used rocks and marbles I played with as a child. 7. Let the stones dry in the mold for at least 24 hours. 8. Apply concrete sealer and follow instructions on the bottle regarding how long it needs to sit before you can step on your stones. 9.
