Bat Season is open in Zambia!

Every year from October to December. the largest animal migration on the planet takes place in Zambia. Bat season is open and during this time, fruit bats with a wingspan of approximately one metre descend on the swampy forests of Kasanka National Park in Zambia. Amazing elephant seal on a beach in Cape Town

This morning, 19th Feb, I felt so privileged to witness Buffel the southern elephant seal make his way from Fish Hoek beach in Cape Town, where he has been for the past 3 weeks, into the sea.
