One more snap of the concept we did for a design competition. In this building, we also used eucalyptus poles but now with a circular plan. The rounded shape, plus the thatched roof, reminds the vernacular architecture of the local indigenous peoples. The building contains an art gallery, two exhibition rooms, a small library and a cafeteria, among other spaces. At the centre, an uncovered patio helps to cool off the internal temperature, reducing the need for air conditioning.
