There's a Cat Cafe in Lviv, a small city in western Ukraine that is home to 20 cats. Owner Serhii Oliinyk – who runs the cafe with his partner Marta – says he is continuing to open the cafe doors every day from 9am to 9pm, providing “hot food and positive emotions” to those that need it. 💛💙 We hold you in our thoughts @catcafelviv 🙏

Vegan hero refuses to leave his animal shelter in Ukraine
Andrea Cisternino, an Italian vegan who looks after 400 animals in his animal shelter close to Kyiv, has chosen to stay in Ukraine despite the Russian invasion. 💛💙 Home to over 400 animals, including cats, dogs, and sheep, there is currently no way to safely evacuate them. Knowing this, the former photographer from Rome turned animal rescuer, has vowed to stay behind with them. “I will die here for my animals”, said Andrea.
