The Sunday Drive cardigan is my version of the perfect weekend sweater. The lush garter stitch and shawl collar keep it cozy while the stockinette stitch sleeves and ribbed hems make it classic. Whether I’m lounging by the fire or enjoying the crisp outdoor air, this is the sweater I want to be wearing! Simple details, lots of texture and a cool construction that results in a great fit, what more could a girl ask for in a sweater?

This beautiful fairisle throw was inspired by Marie’s design ‘SAGE’ from her first self published book ‘WINDSWEPT’. The throw represents her passion for traditional hand knitting and the fabulous folk patterns found in Northern Europe. The throw is entirely hand knitted using Rowan Felted Tweed yarn – a blend of merino wool, alpaca and viscose. The design uses 13 beautiful tweedy shades reflecting the colours seen in the British countryisde in the autumn.

Ever start a project that becomes 20 different things before you actually finish it? Ok, maybe 20 is an exaggeration but that was this design. It’s been a long road but I’m extremely happy with it finally turned out.
