An Italian marble topped mahogany center table, Neapolitian, in 17th century style the rectangular table top decorated with scrolling foliage in a geometric design in black and white marble, Spanish brocetello, giallo di Sienna within a moulded border on four s-scroll supports centred by a finial on an x-form stretcher with a further finial, 66cm high, 123cm wide, 80cm deep; 2ft. 2in., 4ft. ½in., 2ft. 7½in.
An Italian scagliola table top, in 18th century style with a central cartouche depicting a staircase, balustrade and a village on a hill, dated 1755, flanked by scrolling fruit, foliage and birds within a banded border, now mounted into a larger black marble slab and a giltwood base in Louis XIV style, within a gadrooned border, on square tapering legs joined by a stretcher. 50cm high, 229cm high, 112cm deep, the top 210cm. wide, 74cm. deep; 1ft. 7¾in., 7ft. 6¼in., 3ft. 8in., 6ft. 10½in.
